The fitting program available for SuperPipe is arranged in a way that it can be used for all possible applications with a consequently minimised variety of connectors. The basic program is identical for all applications.
The fittings of the SuperPipe consist of heat-treated, stress free, and nonporous nickel-plated high-strength brass. An important precondition for the fitting concept is the permanent tightness for the concealed installation (imbedded in concrete or plaster). Ultimate safety is offered with both screw and press fittings.
When using press or screw fittings, an insert with outer pressure casing is compressed onto the pipe end. Two O-ring seals secure the tightness between insert and inner pipe wall. The compression procedure either happens by firm tightening of the swivel nut when using screw fittings, or by crimping the outer stainless steel sleeve by means of special pressing jaws when using press fittings. With regard to corrosion resistance, both fitting systems are in conformity with the highest quality standards.

The SuperPipe screw connector, a system to connect different
pipe dimensions
with a universal form piece.
The SuperPipe screw-fittings press the closed clamp ring onto the pipe by the screwing together to a double threaded connector or to a radiator connection. Thereafter, only the threaded connection can be opened but not the pressure casing. As a result, the threaded connection is removable, but permanently tight and approved for concealed installations. The threaded connections are available for the relevant pipe sizes 14 to 25 mm in various inch dimensions and fit to all SuperPipe nipples, angles, T-joints, connectors, manifolds, etc. Thus, for instance a T-joint will become a reduction-T's, by using different screw fittings of identical inch dimensions. This system caters for minimise stockholding and to easy ordering.

Crimp connections with SuperPipe press fittings are safe
and streamlined.
Press fittings are available for all applications occurring in practice, for all dimensions from 14 up to 63 mm. The outer press casing is made of high-grade special steel for the utmost possible form stability after pressing. The tight connection of the special steel casing with the fitting, moreover protects the O-rings from any mechanical damages during transport and handling. The press profile with its three pressing grooves and the two O-ring-seals offers long-lasting tight connections. The quality of this connection is in particular of utmost importance for concealed installations and form high-stress temperature changes. The connection remains absolutely tight even after readjusting, bending or turning the pipe after the fitting is in place.
